MULTI-FAMILY
California needs more housing of many types. We have deep experience in multi-family affordable rental housing, but also believe in the importance and benefits or other types of development that provide homes and strengthen community, including:
Small urban infill housing (commonly known as “missing middle” housing)
Affordable home ownership, such as that provided by community land trusts
Cohousing, which heals the isolation of conventional single-family development
Our existing housing stock is also an important resource. The most sustainable building is the one you already have. Together, we can find an effective path to renovating or repurposing your buildings so they serve your current needs beautifully and functionally.

ADUs
An Accessory Dwelling Unit, or ADU, can benefit you, your family, and your community.
You: an ADU can provide rental income, housing for a caregiver, or a place to downsize to while you rent out your main house.
Your family: an ADU facilitates multi-generational living, while maintaining privacy and separate space. For example, an ADU can be home to an aging parent or a grown child.
Your community: ADUs are a small way you can help address the severe shortage of housing in California. By making places for more neighbors, ADUs can also create a greater sense of community, as well as supporting local services.
Naomi is certified as an ADU Specialist by the Earth Advantage Institute.

Your household has changed as members have been added or moved away.
You have started working from home, and need office or other work space.
